Good location freindly staff good dining and nice lounge bar . Entertainment minimal .
Really good value for money, better than expected for the price. Upon arrival, they didn't have double room I booked, so has given me even better option with no charge - double room with sea view. Rooms were clean and tidy
No internet access, no free parking spaces.
close to beach and all amenities staff very helpfull nice food
noisey late at night and early morning due to waste being thrown in bins outside mainly bottles but our room was to close to the back
the food was very good and the entertainment was brilliant
the rooms were a little cold
Good entertainment every night. Brilliant location for everything.
The room was tiny and we felt very closed in. Nowhere to put siutcase after unpacking it as room was so small. Kept tripping up in room as there was barely enough room around the bed.Bar staff not very pleasant but owners were ok.
Very friendly welcome,in a great location on the promenade.Nice terrace overlooking promenade for watching the world go by.French waiter at breakfast excellent.Very child friendly, with in house cabaret if you want it,or all of Blackpool's attractions close by.Great for the beach which has been transformed in recent years,as has, a lot of the promenade.Basic accommodation for a short break in a good location.
Hotel very dated, in need of refurbishment. Furniture in rooms very shabby but spotlessly clean .Don't book dinner unless you like school dinners, breakfast fine though! Bar prices ok apart from extras such as a dash of lime which was 60 pence!! Although Blackpool has been done up,the vast majority of its visitors are still the same, heavily tattooed, foul mouthed, chain smoking drunks and that's just the children!! If you can look past this,Blackpool is good for a short break and The Kensington offers friendly ,clean but basic accommodation.
the staff at the Kensington hotel were very friendly and helpfull, the waiter at breakfast was just a delight he brightened up everyone's day
the only thing i did not like about the hotel was the bed, as i suffer with 2 prolapsed discs in my back the bed was to firm for my liking .
Rooms very small and whole hotel very tired looking - needs facelift and updating
Had key to front door so didnt have to worry about getting in late and had a cozy little bar to have a quiet little drink in, good family facility room to take the kiddies in and play pool.
The location is right on the promenade.
The overall value for money is really poor.
Our room was fine, spotlessly clean and quite big enough. The other people we were there with said the same except that the room was quite small, but adequate nevertheless. Overall, very good value for money and better than anticipated!
The Kenisington Hotel the room was far too small. The ceiling in the bathroom loked like it was going to come down at anytime, the beds were clean but the bed l had was up at one end and down at the other. The Location is great near the shops and nightlife. The waiter on the sat night was good.
Everything about the hotel very good with a lovely welcome on arrival. Breakfast was a very pleasurable experience as the staff were excellent.
Only thing the door in corridor banged every time some one opened the front door which resulted in a sleepless night
Very friendly staff, great location at a good price.
Reception and staff were helpfull Owner lacked service skills
